Film Set Coffee Catering: Service That Fits Your Schedule
Call times, breaks and working hours on set can vary from project to project. When preparing the service plan, we take into account the size of the crew, the expected working hours and the busiest service periods.
We position the coffee point with the shooting area, sound recording and crew movement in mind. We discuss the noise of our equipment and the activity around the service point with the location manager in advance.
A Coffee Menu for the Crew
Alongside espresso, americano, cappuccino and latte, we can also plan iced coffees to suit the weather.
When building the menu, we look at the range of drinks, preparation time and daily supply needs together. You can let us know in advance about plant-based milk, decaf or non-coffee drinks.
On long shoot days, we work out when service will run and what demand to expect during breaks, and prepare accordingly.
Location and Technical Preparation
Before the shoot, we confirm the following:
- Shoot address and vehicle access
- Route for carrying in equipment
- Power connection and set-up area
- Outdoor conditions
- Daily set-up and pack-down times
- Possible location changes
For projects with more than one location, we assess transport and re-setting-up needs separately.
Overtime and Multi-Day Shoots
We can discuss how possible changes to the shooting schedule would affect the service at the quote stage. Extra time and location changes are assessed based on team availability, transport and supplies.
For multi-day projects, we can set daily service hours and supply preparation in advance. We finalise the scope of service around your production schedule.
